Doing business in the MENA region? We are here to help you
The Arab world represents a genuine opportunity for diversifying your market. With one of the fastest growing middle class consumer bases in the developed world, coupled with strong economic growth, it is a dynamic and growing region. We invite you to join us as we work to deepen the Australia Arab trade and investment relationship. Since 1975, we have helped thousands of Australian companies establish and grow bilateral trade and have introduced Arab investors to opportunities in Australia. Our members have experienced for themselves how business is won and lost in the Arab world – and we’re happy to share the benefit of that experience with you.
HOW WE HELP YOU
We provide you with information on new business opportunities and help you make sense of developments in the region and the impact they might have on your trade ambitions. We do this by holding educational and networking events and seminars where you meet key players firsthand. These give you the edge when it comes to making the most of potential opportunities. Our well-established network helps you to promote your interests and puts you in touch with the contacts you need: government, business and advisory services and our Executive Officers.
We provide efficient and accurate document certification services to Australian exporters. Our rigorous systems and procedures are designed to ensure product safety and security for Arab importers and Australian exporters. This is essential to enhancing food safety, which is a growing concern in the Arab world. AACCI is unique because both the Australian government and the 22 Arab League states have accredited us to certify export documents. We offer document certification services in 10 locations across five states, at ports, airports and CBD locations.
We know that doing business with the Arab world can be challenging for those who are new to the game – and even those who’ve been around a while. So, we have a strong focus on providing the social, cultural and commercial knowledge you need to succeed in the region. AACCI is a truly national body with offices servicing most states and territories. Our well established network helps put you with the contracts you need: government, business to business and chamber-to-chamber.
AACCI takes a leading role in working with governments in both Australia and the Arab League states to open up new opportunities and to get the best regulatory environment for your exports. We have developed strong relationships with the diplomatic corps of Arab Ambassadors in Australia, so you can rely on these relationships to assist you as required. We are the peak industry body with an authoritative voice, abreast of Australia-Arab trade relationship issues. We are a community of private companies and individuals working together to advance your projects and promote public policy that will build stronger economic bonds between Australia and the Arab world.
